Baby Ella is an elegant dress with pleats on the front and back skirts and the sleeves. It has a boat neck accentuated by a high yoke that is slightly curved. The dress buttons down the back and the hem is finished with a single tuck. It may be made sleeveless or with three quarter length sleeves. It is trimmed in a lace edging by crocheting into entredeux. Included are embroidery designs and instructions for crocheting into entredeux. French laces or piping may be substituted for the crocheted lace. The sweet little bonnet has a lined brim, set off with tiny pleats on each side and is also trimmed in crocheted lace.
